Monday Workspace - Spring Term 2012
Congratulations to all those involved in the Trial – what an achievement. Great show, performances the most assured and accomplished I’ve seen - and what box office sales. Adam and I can eat out for a week on what you’ve raked in, hurrah. (I wish).

Bad Luck Cabaret
Friday the 13th; a date feared and cursed by the superstitious among us. My mother, for one is the first to throw salt over her shoulder and salute to a solitary magpie. However last week, The Space defied this dreaded date by hosting it’s very own Bad Luck Cabaret.
The theatre was decorated with open umbrellas hanging from the ceiling and a huge ladder took pride of place centre stage....

Tonight’s the night chums … tickets are still available online for the fabulous ‘Bad Luck Cabaret’ tonight at 7:30pm.
The box office is open from 7pm for ticket collection, and don’t forget that show ticket-holders get 10% off food at Hubbub. I recommend the Crispolini pancakes (I’m pretty sure that is not the correct spelling).

Space Cadets are Back in Business
Yesterday at 4pm, The Space once again became innundated with 7-11 year old children, running around, singing, dancing, playing games and telling stories. After a 4 week break, it was lovely to see the kids once again (with a lot of new faces thrown in for good measure).
Sean (who had a term off last season) was back to running the sessions and keeping the Cadets in order. He began by letting...

Steven has been developing ‘Us’, a short play, over the last four months and worked with a cast of professional actors on Saturday to stand it up in front of an audience.
The feedback was good and Steven was great. Applause.
